Anybody have anything to say about engo winches besides warn is better. I've been researching winches for a while and for the value line brands it seems like one of the better ones out there...I'm looking at the 9000 with synthetic rope for only like $400. I would love to hear from anyone with first hand experience, thanks

 

JP magazine did a shootout with an bunch of winches. Engo winches did a good job. I have read many threads with people that have them and they seem to like them.

I've got the 10000 with synthetic. It's a great winch and looks really sharp too.

 

Got an E9000s on the way, hope it's good heard a few negative reviews but mostly positive, hope the 9k will be enough for a jku

 

if i remember right,the head honcho of engo is the son?? of milemarker winch owner....left to go out on his own.i have a few friends running them on thier rovers.
they were doing well in the swamps of NJ where we do alot of playing.....

 

They seemed to have the best reviews of the value priced winches. If it warns up a bit, I will be installing my E10,000 during the kids nap time. Can't beat a 10k for $309 to your front door (jeepaddons).

 

I ordered the 9000 synthetic for 404 shipped to my door from jeepaddons too, my only problem is how long it takes to get stuff from them...ordered 4 things on Monday have only received my receiver shackle, bumper didn't even ship until Friday, no fog lights yet and now I ordered the winch but they did have the best prices so not too much complaining. Did it come with the snatch block, if so that's pretty cool but guess I bought one for nothing lol...is that like a fake carbon fiber look, on the website it just looked black but I like it

I added the snatch block. I'd prefer the finish to be black but I much prefer the carbon look to the gray.
