Entry-Level Lift Recommendation?
Last year I decided to get back into the Jeep space and bought a 2-door 2010 JK. Now, in looking to get some better tread and articulation, I'm really seeing how this is a different space than what I'm used to (all I know is leaf springs). So; what's my best bet for an entry-level setup? Looking to run 33in tires.
4WD.com is running a special on the 2.5" kit from Pro Comp with ES9000 Shocks: http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.as...7&partID=41306. Total (including shipping) is about $425. Any thoughts?

TF 2.5" BB would be my recommendation, very good feedback from other owners on this kit. You can fit 35's if you should decide to go bigger tires.
However, I will put caution to the wind....if you are seriously thinking of bumpers & winch in your near future I would recommend you skip on the BB and jump into a Coil Spring lift. Save the extra coin for the coil spring lift as it will help with the added weight as the stock springs will sag terrible overtime.

Bumbers are definitely in the future, so I'm trying to stay away from kits that just entail bigger bushings / retain the original springs. Definitely appreciate the help. What's your take on coil spring kits?
The entry level kit I got myself is the Teraflex 2.5" coil lift with shock adapters. I figure I'll replace my shocks when I need to. I plan on getting an adjustable front track bar and some rear coil spacers so I can keep the rake. I don't remember what the kit cost. Somewhere between 5 and 6 hundred, I think.
TF 2.5" BB would be my recommendation. I have Wheeled Moab twice with this lift, and stock Rubi wheels, tires, and shocks.
I'm putting 35's on later this month, but I'm going to keep running the TF 2.5 BB until I can save up for a 4in long arm.

If bumpers are a definite future option, then the Teraflex or Rock Krawler 2.5" coil lifts will definitely be a great purchase. Spacer lifts combined with heavy bumpers will eventually = coil sag.
However, given that you've decided to go with 33's, then you can also look at the Teraflex Leveling Kit. It allows for up to a 34" tire. With the two coil kits listed above, you can run 35" tires.
By the way, I just noticed that you're from KC!
Welcome to our little island of misfit toys! A bunch of us JK'ers will be getting together this Tuesday, the 8th at 6:30 at the Johnny's at K-10 and Ridgeview if you want to swing by and meet everyone. That will also give you an opportunity to see all sorts of different versions of lifts, tires, etc. to help make an educated purchase.
Good luck!

OME HD coil spring lift is the route I went. Gave me 3" of lift with bumpers and winch and looks good with 33's. Ride quality is better than stock with the added weight and I will have plenty of room for 35 upgrade. TF coils are another popular lift with JK members. I really don't think you could go wrong with either coil spring lift.
