Esp bas light on

Default Esp bas light on

i recently put a suspension lift on my jeep, and the esp bas light stays on. why? and how do ifix it?

first off, did you make sure that you recentered your steering wheel? that is the #1 reason for your esp to go off after a lift. 2nd, how much air are you running in your tires? if you are running 33's, you should have about 30psi in them. 35's, about 28psi and 37, about 26psi. a recentered steering wheel and proper psi should do the trick.

have the dealer check the hydralic control module for the brakes thats what was causing my light to come on

100% agree, you might have to center the wheel, drive for a day or two and then recenter again, that is what worked for me.

you may need to recenter it more than a couple time. i actually kept doing it over and over again till i realized the road i was on was slanted in an odd way

I do some of my best work then! That's why it only took me 17hrs to install my lift. I think I kept taking things back apart and putting them back together. Kinda like when you finish a snap together puzzle and take a few pieces back off and put them back on again to impress yourself.
