esp bas light keeps coming on
i have an 07 wrangler with a 3.5 inch lift and 35s. the other day i was driving down the interstate and my jeep beeped and the traction control light, the esp and bas came on. i went off in about 30 miles and stayed off for a few days. when i drove yesterday on the interstate again it came back on and went back off again in about 30 miles. anybody have this happen to them and what i should do, i really dont want to take it to the jeep dealer because its not under warranty and i just replaced the tranny, i cant afford another costly repair.

I have no proof to support this and have no idea why it would have any affect on the esp/bas light but have you been driving in snow? My esp/bas lights came on and stayed one once last winter after driving in about 6 inches of snow for a about 20 Km then went off after I stopped, shut off the engine then drove a few hundred feet.
Just the other day I drove about 5 km in about a foot of snow and the lights came on. I got to where I was going, shut off the engine went inside, came out and the lights went out after I drove a few km.
Now I immediately went and signed into the forum to check this out. I read a post from 2007 where someone said to start the engine, turn the wheel all the way to the left, then to the right and then drive it til the lights went out. I did this and the light went out but whether this actually helped or not I have no idea.
Like I said, I have no idea if deep snow caused my lights to come on or why they went out. Just info to chew on.
