Default ESP engaging after lift and 35's

2007 2-door. I installed a 3" lift and 35x12.50-20 on 20x12 wheels. Now everything I go into a mild curve the ESP engages. Any cause or doc for this?

make sure your steering wheel is centered and did you program in the new tire size?

Did you make sure your steering is adjusted and straight? A simple check if you don't have a programmer to tell you if you are off center is to see if the JEEP logo on the steering wheel is straight when you are driving straight down the road. If the steering is off center the ESP will kick on when going into simple turns until it is adjusted. Adjustment is done at the drag link bar by unscrewing the 2 bolts that hold it in place and turning it a 1/4 inch at a time until your steering wheel is straight. Re-tighten when done and check it as it may require a couple of adjustments until it is right. There are write ups on this but I assure you it is a simple adjustment.

It is off maybe 1" to the left, I'll adjust it and see if that cures it

With it that far off, your Jeep thinks it's in a skid. Steering wheel pointing one way, Jeep going another. It is a pretty tight tolerance to avoid this.

If it's not straight it will go off every time. Loosen your drag link coupler bolts (15mm) and adjust. Typically it doesn't take much to get it straight.

Do as suggested re the steering wheel centering, but before you do be sure the axles are centered under the frame. Once the axles are dead centered, then adjust your steering wheel.

Crap that might require an adjustable track bar

It happens when your steering wheel has to much play in it or is not straight.

Just straighten the steering wheel and see what happens.
