Default Esp HELP Please !!!!!

I just installed my lift today my esp is on. Do I have to take it to the dealership for allignment to get the esp off??? Or will just getting it alligned turn the esp off???

No alignment necessary. Just straighten your stearin wheel, and you'll be good to go.

you may need an alignment i know i needed one after i put my lift on. you could also turn your esp off with the steering wheel dance in the owners manual thats what i ended up doing.

jut disconnect your drag link and center up your steering wheel and problem solved.. you may have to also adjust your drag link to, screwing it in to get it ligned back up in the center of your pitman arm.

Unless you installed adjustable control arms, there is nothing to "align" on a JK.

Just re-center your steering wheel, it takes all of 5 minutes and it's free.

Disconnect from which point just the pitman arm or both points????

You dont have to disconnect anything. All you have to do is loosen the 2 small (13mm ?) bolts on the center of the draglink and turn it be hand either way while someone watches the wheel to see when its centered. Then tighten the bolts and test drive. You may have to do it a few times.

Just follow the write up posted above....its super easy !

I have this same problem when I put my lift on my self the ABS, Traction control, and the ESP all came on and won't turn off I have tried to re center the steering wheel nothing will work :/ can someone please tell me they had this same problem and fixed it :(??
