Default ESP keeps turning on!!!

I just put a 3.5 rubi express lift with some 37'' bfg tires. My ? is every time I go down or up a windy road, or even a sharp off ramp the ESP turns on. Can this be because i didn't flash my JK?

i only have a 3.5 inch lift and 33's and mine does it too...its a jeep thing
its because the jeep thinks its starting to roll or slide because of the tire size when really its not...have you used a programer to tell your computer what size tires you have?? or you can install a "fun switch" that you can flip to turn esp off on winding roads

I agree 100% with the earlier posters that the steering wheel needs to be re-centered. I just installed a 4" lift and 35"s only to find the ESP came on with mild turns or hard bumps. I tried to center the wheel immediately after the installation without my programmer but went back and did it with the programmer. System went back to normal operation.

Have your caster checked as well. I had this issue with the wheel centered and adj. track bar. As soon as I got some adj. lower control arms to dial in the caster the problem went away.

mine came on the other day when i was going around a fairly sharp corner and a good gust of wind hit the side of the jeep. It also comes on very rarely when i turn a sharp corner after i've been wheeling or have gone through a really deep puddle or crossed a stream.

I need to re-center my steering as well. For now I just ignore it, however i'm sure it's not easy on the brakes.

Just hold the wheel straight and it won't turn on anymore.
