EVAP skid plate or relocation???
There are numerous threads on this topic already so you should have no shortage of input but I recently added a Poison Spyder skid. It's great cause it replaces the stock bracket and raises your evap box by about 3/4". It also covers all four sides unlike a number of the skids which only cover the bottom of the evap box. It's super beefy and you could probably balance the whole JK on it.
I found this thread very helpful when trying to decide.
Evap relocation kit or skid plate-whats your preference

Thanks Spleify. Hopefully I can make it out to CO someday when I retire in a couple of years (from the military). Bet there are some good trails out there (orig from NE).

i thought the 3/4 inch might be a big deal but I still went with the rugged ridge cuz it was 40+ cheaper than the poison spyder custom. In comparison to the gas tank skid on the opposing side, the rr evap skid is still much higher. Even with the rugged ridge which is probably an inch lower than the poison spyder custom, it worked for me because I have the off road mbrp exaust and the can is right next to the evap cannister. the rugged ridge skid is approx a half inch lower than the exhaust and provides some protection to the exhaust by being the point that would take the brunt of a crest. It wouldn't prevent a direct hit but between the rugged ridge skid and the gas tank skid, it should help.
Let me know if/when you come to Colorado and we can hit some trails!
Good luck with your skid!
