Im sure you are all tired of the lift questions but I have yet another....
I plan on running 35s on 15in rims and trimming the ugly fenders into Flattys on my 4 door X...I really like the stance of the 4" lift but Im a little concerned with how it will look with flat fenders. Seems like there will be ALOT of extra space between the tire and the fender and of course money is always a concern as well. I think I would rather get a kit with new coils instead of just spacers... any suggestions on lifts? Ive been looking into the RC 4" lift or Black Diamond 3" but I'm open to any and all suggestions.
the Jeep is a DD but I bought it for off road so the on road manners really dont concern me too much... Thanks again for any and all input

Yep, 4" (actual lift height of what? 5+ inches would probably be a safe bet) and flat fenders is easily enough for 37's.
Take a look at this for sale thread

and note the reason he is selling his 35's...
I guess some people like the look of a large lift with small tires, but I'm not one of them
Personally, I'd recommend a smaller lift with flats if 35's are as big as you're going to go. Hell, there are folks on here running 35's with 'no lift' and flat fenders. There are even a few running 35's with no lift and stock fenders...

Thanks for the reply. 35s will probebly be my limit, as much as i would like 37s or even 40s I can't afford everything required to get there...For the sake of money I may have to be one of those running 35s with no lift for awhile until I find the lift I want and then can afford it...lol The more time I spend on this site the more money i need
