Default EVO bolt-on Coilover question

How do these do when going over wash board roads? Does the jeep still have a tendency to slide or do these keep it on the road better? My current setup will start bouncing and causes the jeep to go into a slide, and that's even with airing down.

It would depend on the shock tuning, how heavy your rig is, and how much suspension travel you have. Coil overs are not magic they need to be set up properly just like everything else.

Dirtman is correct in the fact that coil overs need to be set up correctly in order to work properly,,,, but once they are dialed in,,,, I think they are as close to magic as you can get, especially when compared with regular monotube shocks like bils or rancho,,,(especially rancho). Iv had my CO's on my jeep for almost a year now and only recently have meen making the effort to tune them. So far I have changed spring rates twice,,re valved, put in a shorter internal bump stop pin, and let out the bleed screws on the internal bump stop. Still need to set my slide stops ( front and rear), then I get to figure out where I like My 20 way adjustable knobs set. It is a long process, but my jeep is starting to feel like a big comfy couch over almost ant terrain!!! Super comfy
