No no no, JUST the coilovers are $3500. You still need the lift. All these replace is the shocks and springs. You still need your arms and everything else for the lift.

I'm confused.
Is the coil over design just an improvement to the suspension? I'm looking for a 3" lift on my 2-dr Rubi, and from what I gather this isn't my ticket.

I'm in the same boat and want to upgrade my 2.5.

What else is missing other than bump stops and sway bar links? 3" short arm has been done, albeit not as nice as a long arm.

It was my understanding that the coilovers could be ran with short arms and basically replaced the shock and spring combo. I still have adjustable front/rear trackbars from my old build but sold my front lower CA's with the lift kit.

In theroy I would pair these coilovers with EVO adjustable front lowers and use my old track bars to start and source brake lines, etc. elsewhere.

While the coilovers replace your springs and shocks, I suspect at bare minimum you'll still need: draglink flip kit, rear trackbar relocation bracket, bump stop extension if not king bump stops, front LCAs, probably front upper CAs b/c you can adjust the lift height and longer sway bar links. Plus all the other stuff you'll need for going this high (e.g. brake line extension, front DS etc). And although you will need these for either choice I don't think the above will be included in the $3500 price.

Anyway I hate speculating on stuff, this is just my best guess and I could be way off.

BTW--I received your PM as well and will send some pics.

Patiently waiting. As of a week or so ago, the release is still pending. Last PM I received from them, is itll be posted when released. Vibe I got is theyre probably getting a lot of calls on the coilover set-up & basically saying dont call us, we'll let you know. Which is fine, Im sure Mels got plenty of work & doesnt need to be taking time away all day on phone calls for a system not released. The cost is to put coilovers on your existing set-up. It doesnt include all the other lift stuff you should be using (C/As, T/Bs, D/Ss, Flip kit, etc.)

So I'd need to go with something like this?

http://www.full-traction.com/detail....TID=405&NOTES=

Minus the shocks/springs it comes with.
Plus the EVO coilover system.

I'll try to clear a couple things up!

1. The EVO LCG Bolt On coil over system is the new product. (not the long arms system on Rubicats JK)
2. The Bolt on coilovers can be ran on ANY short arm or Long Arm Suspension System.
3. Kit will work with our Highclearance Long arm kit (weld on)
4. Kit will work with our Double D BOLT ON Long arm system. This kit is 100% bolt on
5. Rubicat is running the High clearance weld on Long arm suspension system.

We are working to announce pricing and a release date very soon. It will be announced on Project-Jk, JK-Forum, and our Facebook pages!

Go all EVO...

We know our control arms joints will handle the added articulation from the coil overs. Please give us a call and we can set your jeep up for your needs.
