Default EVO or Full Traction

Finally going to upgrade my lift Just need to Narrow my choices down to the last one and I am stuck.

Choice #1
Full Traction JK 2-Door/4-Door, 4 inch Long Arm (FTS7340)

Choice #2
EVO: Suspension / Steering, EVO MFG(3) 4" Lift Kit DoubleD JK Bolt On Long Arm

#1 Full Traction
#2 EVO DoubleD

So which one? Please no "If I was you I would go with Teraflex or R.E. or ProComp" I don't want them I will be getting one of these so save that for someone else.

Any flaws in either system please point them out so I can add it to the pros and cons list.

I say the EVO, it's a rock solid lift that can take what you throw at it. Not to mention the customer service over at EVO is top notch.

I vote DD. I mean who doesn't like DDs. Honestly though I'd choose the DD kit because it doesn't use any bushings, the arms are adjustable w/o removing anything, saving alot of time on alignment, making it easier to fine tune. It uses Johnny joints on both ends of the arms. Hands down the Evo kit.

Wasn't it you I tried welding the brackets back on for at rausch?
I thought you had teraflex. Man that welder they had sucked.

If that wasn't you sorry but I seen that happen twice and I don't want it to be me next time. So no TF FOR ME.

That was me. In their defense they have released a bracket that reinforces the rear control arm brackets. If I had to choose again I'd go with the Evo DD long arm or the Evo high clearance long arm. The frame side bushings are shot on my Teraflex lower long arms. They are actually pulling out of the arms and cracking.

i hate to be the bearer of bad news but, if you're still planning to go coil overs, blown out bushings will be something you will see happen a lot more.

Yep. I'm planning to cut all the Teraflex longarms bushing ends off, weld on a bung, and use a jj at the frame side. If its in my budget id like to just go with the evo high clearance longarms.

honestly, that's what i would do. back when i was still running FT long arms, that's what i had to do. if you can afford to do evo high clearance brackets, they are so worth it.

Why would it wear the bushings faster? Do the increased travel of the coilover possibly?

The bushings are wearing from the deflection/twisting force they see during articulation. Coilovers = more flex and faster bushing wear. Mine are worn pretty bad and have play with just 3" springs and Teraflex shocks.
