Default EVO Rock Sliders

I'm going to order a set of EVO Rock Sliders for my 2dr as soon as my tax return comes in. Question is, is it worth the extra $75 bucks to have them powder coated or should i get them bare and bed line/paint them myself. I'm looking to do whatever is best so they last the longest.

I have mine powder coated, and I think it was well worth it. I think it looks better than normal paint, and is much more durable as well.

Thanks everyone. My guess is i'm not going to save much money doing it myself anyways. I can always spray or bed line them after the fact when the powder coat gets in rough shape.

Anybody concerned with water and mud getting inside via the evo emblem. Just wondering. Mine arrived and are just waiting to be installed. These things are beefy.

Ya but some water and dirt must stay inside. Just thought it might be a rust issue down the road.

I was thinking of the same ones. Time to get rid off the rugged ridge rock rails. So these are solid. Do these have to be screwed in to the body too ?
