The evo tire carrier requires the vendor armour use. I am not gap fan of the vendor armour. Do you think you could trim down the vendor armour to just be the rear portion or you would loose the integrity required for the tire carrier.

Anyone ever modify it in any way?

 

I'm sure it's for support, I would say you would need it. PSC should be coming out with something that mounts on the stock hinges. The sent out some proto types but haven't seen anything recently. For the evo I personally like the tire carrier I'm sure they built it with heavy tires in mind making the skins necessary.

 

Wish PSC would put the bar going up like evo does not appear they are going to. Hopefully in final design it does.
