That sounds like a nice idea... maybe you should start a thread about it....

Thanks. I did it before. I knew with the travel I would rub so I cut them a week before the suspension was installed.

yeah I like that look but I drive a million miles and I feel the lose in mpg with open wheel wells would be to much. I really like the MC fenders too.

I do not tow much with my JK, but when I have I didnt have a problem. When I go to Moab I will have the jeep loaded wiith enough equipment to stay out there a week and and it might sag 1.5" I would guess. I have never measured it but that would be my best guess. THE INCLUDED PIC IS WITH THE EVO COILS.

I had progressive springs and thats why I went to the Evo springs. Progressive springs will eventually settle on the "softer" rate of the spring then you will be riding on the "firmer" rate of the spring all the time making your ride harsh. I am talking from experience as well.

It ain't science

Stays in Coil Buckets, even at Full Droop
Superior Ride Quality
Excellent On & Off Road Stability
Consistant Ride Height
Resists Sagging
Allows for Unbeatable Articulation
I have yet to have a problem with either of my Evo springs falling out weither it be the front or the rear springs. I have about 11.75" of travel in the front and rear and the coils will not move in their place.

OP

I have ~20,000 miles on my EVO coils and love them! The ride is unbelievably smooth. I put on a ton of road miles driving across country for JKX and have wheeled it there, Moab, Northern/Southern Nevada and California. Haven't had any of the previously mentioned issues with them yet.

I haven't towed with them as my boat is too heavy anyway.
I do not notice any sag when I'm all loaded up for the trail.
Never had them come out of their perch...sounds like a set up issue.
Ride quality is subjective, but I would find it hard to believe that there are coils that are more comfortable.

I'll look for some pics on my phone and add them to this thread. Not sure if you are running 37s or 35s, but I ran the lift with both.

I am not on this board very often any more, but feel free to PM me any questions.

Good luck!

This was fully loaded with the stuff I took on JKX plus several suitcases and boxes I had for work.

Hope this helps.

Sent you a PM. Ignore the question about towing as I responded before I read your respond on the thread. That is a sweet rig.

Thanks! As Moochie said, they are 37s. He can also give an idea of the comfort of the ride because we did JKX together.

I see you have 315 Duratracs, which is what I had before. I took a quick look and found these threads with some pics.

I would like to hear thoughts on using the MC control arms and the EVO bolt on coil overs. This was my plan what do you think?
