I was looking to buy either the dynomax rockcrawler exhaust or one of their vt systems. I have a 08 jk and want to get a good sound, but not loud. Any suggestions?

There are many threads on this. Best bet is to go on youtube and find some good quality videos with sound clips so you can hear them. The dynomax rock crawler system sounds really nice.

Mbrp stainless steel exhaust. I have it on my 08 and love the sound. It gets deeper over time as well.

Here is what I've got, I couldn't be more pleased. And the install only took about an hour.

MBRP off road exhaust. Good sound once it gets worn in a little. Easy to install minus the PITA of removing the stock muffler...but regardless of your choice you will have to deal with that PITA.

I have the 39459. I like the sound. Not much of a performance upgrade, it gets the muffler out of the way though.

The only problem I had is that the internal pipe separated from the rest of the muffler. Meaning the round part was moving up and down the pipe. A simple weld fixed it.

I'll probably go with a Magnaflow when it's time to change this one out.
