I am going to get my wheels and tires installed this week and was going to get some clearance back in the back by getting ride of that damn big ugly muffler. Do you guys recommend getting rid of the resonator and put it there? Or just put it out back? I am getting a magnaflow as I dont want it loud just want clearance. Thank you for your input.

The AFE high tuck exhaust is on my to-do list. Have you checked them out yet? There's a couple videos out there about them and the reviews seem to be good, and the don't hang lower than your bumper

A lot of people will keep the stock resonator and run one of our 20" round muffler after the stock resonator and loss that bulky rear muffler. P/N 17263 Good luck with your choice.

Anyone know of a skid plate to cover the 2012+ resonator on a 4 dr. I have a 2010 with the dynomax right where the resonator would be.

About a 3-4out of 10. You will hear it but not too bad IMO.

Have you seen the Rugged Ridge one? Not too sure if it will line up exactly though.
