Default Exhaust Question

Opinions on exhaust systems that are available please? I am looking for a nice, deeper sound, with good gains.

X2 I see a few out their, but I'd have to be sure it sounds good to justify pulling off a brand new exhaust.

I don't know how true it is, but I read/heard that Gibson's systems tend to rust out/rot away at a very high rate. I'm in the market myself, and the concensus on here is that Magnaflow, whether it's the kit or w/a universal and re-locating the muffler, is the way to go.

Man, there are so many threads on this.. Type in "exhaust, or magnaflow, or flowmaster".. There is a bunch of pictures etc. The general Idea that I got out of reading all of them was to buy a Magnaflow round 14x20 part# 12616 and get it welded in under the drivers floor pan.. doing away with the rear muffler completely.. I would move the existing rear heat shield and re-install it above the new muffler position.. Supposed to give you more HP, and the best deep sound that your going to get out of the V6... ( I will be doing it to mine on Monday.!)
Good luck on wading thru all the posts on this subject.. All well worth reading though.. OH, and cheap fix too, under 300 bucks etc.

EDIT:
GUESS WHAT.. GOT MY OVAL 9X14 MAGNAFLOW PUT ON YESTERDAY AND THE TAILPIPE REDONE USING FACTORY HANGER.. COST $180.00 TOTAL.!!!!

There was a great posting with Dyno results..(various feelings on believing the accuracy of them) That you achieved more HP with the single one than running a dual system.. Not saying your isn't the bomb though!! I wonder how it would be if you ran a single with dual outlets, and had the 2 tailpipes out?? Wondering about the sound.. Probably defeat the purpose of the mod to get the big *ss muffler off and tuck one under the frame etc. for 4wheeling..!

I'm going to wait for the Banks system for my 2 door and see what they come up with. Had it on my TJ and quality and sound was top notch IMO

Has anyone tried the Borla system they have out for the 07's? They're not cheap, but look pretty good!
