Default Exhaust question for Noob

Hey there,

this is my first JKU 16’ and I have cut the exhaust just before the factory resonator. In its place I’ve added the Magnaflow round body muffler, part number escapes me at the moment and wondered if anyone has had a sputtering between shifts at WOT. It comes and goes but it’s strange almost like hitting the rev limiter but it’s no where near that. At the peak of the RPMs just before the upshift there’s a pronounced sputter. If I back off the throttle just a hair there is no sputter just before the shift..who knows any input is appreciated thanks

Guessing a back pressure issue? No codes thrown or impending codes from the computer?

no sir. It’s essentially Magnaflows off road pro set up without their pipes, not sure if adding a CAI would help but it feels like I lost a bit of back pressure. Question is how to get it back?
