Default Have the Gibson Stainless with borla turn down sounds....

I have the Gibson Stainless with borla turn down tip (2 1/2") and it sounds good!

At first I had the Gibson "trumpet" which went from 2 1/2" to 3" IIRC. Since it was new I think it did sound ricey. So then I then got the Borla 2 1/2 turn down. It made it quieter which made it sound better. After about a month I assume it filled up with "carbon" and broke in. Now it sounds really good!!!! While certainly not a V8 sound (because it is a V6!!!) But, I must say for a V6 it sounds pretty darn good!

Hope that helps.

I've got a Flowmaster 800 series (Camaro muffler). It has one inlet and two outlets. The shop charged me $200 for muffler and install. Sounds great with the Airaid intake.

I was looking into a similar setup as you, and I have the AirRaid. Anyway you could post up a sound clip?

I just got the 14" magnaflow catback at a performance muffler shop. $200! I had them put the flowmaster on but it sounded a little more tinny. The 18" magnaflow was pretty quiet.
