Default Exhaust questions!

So finally pulling the trigger on exhaust and intake, and no clue where to start. I care about the sound more then hp gains ( but always nice)!! I'm looking for a deep truck sound don't wanna sound like a civic but also not too loud where I can't hear my self think while driving! Yes I youtubed and searched but they all sound the same on video. Hoping to hear some reviews from u guys. Also not sure the difference between 2.5 or 3 inch and what's would be better for me. Also I want to match up an intake aswell so what combo is good!! I have a 2011 jeep jk unlimited 4 door, only mods are 2.5 inch teraflex lift with 35 inch tires. I've heard good things about afe anyone use there setup? Thanks for ur time guys. Also if anyone in Long Island ny area I have a black jeep emblem for grabs no charge!!!

My computer serves as a digital source for a high quality sound system, so different exhaust clips do sound different.

Based on sound clips, threads and reviews, I've decided on the Magnaflow 17143 Performance Exhaust Kit, which I haven't bought yet...
Not too loud, deeper & lower tone than stock, no drone.

The 2.5" of the stock exhaust is the optimal diameter for our engines.

Afe stage 2 intake is sweet. Totally changes the sound of the engine!

I have the afe scorpion hi tuck cat back exhaust 2.5" and I'm not too fond of it.

Its great after its been running for a few minutes, but when it runs cold, like right after start up....its horrible
