Well your not going to get a v8 sound either but there are some exhaust out there that have a nice throaty sound. Start on Youtube.
I have the Evolution Competition by Dynomax, it dumps before the rear axle. I'm very happy with mine! To be honest with you save the money and go for a muffler not the system. Relocate the muffler and do/buy your own pipe. Best of luck!

I have the Dyno EVO syatem in my 12 Rubicon.

It was way to loud for my tastes. It's a straight through resonator similar to a Thrush or Cherry bomb.
Exhaust dumps out very close to the drivers seat. I could feel it and hear it constantly. The loud resonance in mine was between 1,500 and 3,500 RPM.

I added the Dynomax super tubo dual outlet muffler behind the Evo cat back system and really like it now.
Not much louder that stock but has lower, deeper sound. Subtle power increase combined with a high flow air filter. Hope this helps.

Got pics of this set up? Didn't know you added the ST muffler.

I'll bet that two mufflers in series works pretty good for the V6, because it also works good for a V8. I have two mufflers in series, and the exhaust note is perfect. It is quiet, still sounds like I've got serious muscle under the hood, and has absolutely no drone at any RPM. I've got two different sized Flowmaster mufflers instead of Dynomax, but I'll bet it is with the same results.

Default part numbers?

Do you have the part numbers? This should work on a 3.8 as well right?

X2 on this. I did a magnaflow muffler and just cut a piece of pipe right under the rear driver seat and clamped the muffler in. took off that huge stock muffler and the magnaflow sounds great for 60 bucks. good luck.

I'm curious about this too, I don't want the v6 sound to be prominent. I'm thinking a magnaflow or dynomx muffler with a dump before the rear axle would sound good, but I'm not sure... Also, how do these v6's take to packpressure loss? I know my buddies 4.0 lost bottom end power when he took his muffler off and dumped it right after the cats
