what is the best bang for the buck with exhaust upgrades. I am running an AEM intake, but want to upgrade the exhaust to improve mileage and horsepower. Any suggestions???

Save your money...not real increase in HP or Milage....do it for the sound or not at all.

I have the AEM CAI and the MBRP exhaust. I really like the combo and sounds great. Like mentioned above, not sure it does much for the mpg.

I agree, do it for the sound. I went with a Banks Monster exhaust. It is great sounds awesome! No real power improvements though. I do have to say the muffler is a quarter the size of the factory, so it fits easier, is less of a target, and lighter in weight.

You will see gains, but after adding big tires, heavy bumpers ( a winch etc), the gains maybe be small, but gains none the less. Here is a video clip of our Dynomax "rockcrawler system"

Default thanks

thanks for the input, I have gone to 5:13 gears with 37 inch tires, I'm a realist and know i'm not driving a prius so mpg won't be great just looking for a little gain, but yes mostly for the sound. Was that dynomax vid with the stock engine? or with modifications? Thanks again

Same as me. Great combo. Love how exhaust rumbles when u let off the gas. You hear the intake/engine more then the exhaust in the upper rpms.

That is Way of Life's JK. It has the stock engine, but I am not too sure if he has a chip or CAI.
