Default Expedition One Basic DX with side wings, but no winch

I am interested in an Expedition One Basic DX with the side wings, but I don't plan to run a winch. I am looking for as light of a bumper I can find, but there doesn't seem to be many non-winch choices. Is anyone running this bumper without a winch, and has anyone fabbed up some kind of cover so there's not just a gaping hole where the winch would go? Or maybe does someone have pics before a winch was installed?

You can always fab up or fig out a toolbox that would fit in place if the winch that carry pull out straps or other things

I'm thinking the stock plastic trim piece would still fit. It wouldn't cover the whole hole, but it would certainly look better than running that bumper with just a big gaping hole where the winch would go.

This was the issue I had with Shrockworks, besides their being over priced and delivery times that allow you to retire prior to putting on their bumpers. I did not like the hugh hole prior to putting on a winch, and even when I put my winch on, the hole was made to accomodate the Warn Power Plant system, and I still had enough room to store groceries. Benchmark makes a really nice front bumper without winch if your interested.

I'm also interested in the Benchmark mid-width Sport bumper, but I'm waiting to see how all the drama surrounding the delivery of them turns out. Looks like another nice lightweight option. Hopefully someone will get one installed and post pics soon.
