Default Explain Tires to Me!

I understand the size of tires and all that stuff, but I'm stuck on the grades. What I mean is, I see the letters 'C', 'D', and 'E' next to tires when checking the specs out. What do those letters stand for? Explain them to me.

Thanks

Default Load range

This is probably more info than you want, but more info isn't always bad.

By the way, if you're looking for tires, Toyo M/Ts are rated E (10 ply) which is the highest you'll get for Mud terrains. More weight you can carry and more plys, thicker. So you can air down and not worry to much. Good luck.
