Default Extended Brake Lines

I'm about to put a 2.5" Rock Krawler system on my JKU. I know that most people say I do not need to extend brake lines, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Would it be acceptable to buy more brake line than I need, so in the future I don't have to replace them again if I decide to up the size lift. I'm currently looking at Toxic Brake lines, does anyone have any other suggestions?

I'm not sure you are getting good info. Fronts will be ok if you unhook them from factory contact points and ditch the steel bracket.

On my rear lines, I had drop brackets from an old lift and then went to a metalcloak lift. Even with the drop brackets, the lines were too short at full droop. Obviously, coil length matters and shock travel, but I'd caution you to test line length after you put the lift on.

just installed 4-6" longer brake lines last night from Toxic and they have plenty of travel and are great quality.

holy crap dude? Awesome brake line job, but your antis away bar angle??? I hope this a pic of it lifted by the frame. If not, might want to get extended links.

lol...that pic is when we were flex testing it so it is pretty drooped in that pic...the sway bar sits almost level after adding the Synergy springs ....longer links or drop spacers are on the short list!

So there would be no problem with going with the brake lines for 5" to 6" of lift even though I'm only going 2.5" to start.

Appreciate all the help guys.

From just searching the internet, it does not appear there is to much difference between brake lines. Cost is going to be around $125-$130 for 4 and the quality will probably be about the same. Is that pretty much true?
