Default Or-Fab Rock Sliders

Does anyone have a set of the Or-Fab rock sliders for the Jeep JK? After ordering them, I realized that on the unlimited, that the slider is actually two pieces.

I was wondering if there is any inherent weaknesses of the two piece design.

I guess the fact that they are real sliders, and actually protect the bottom of the rocker panel is a plus.. They are called "Rock Sliders plus Side bar". Just curious about the strength of the actual bar.

Although.. I guess one good thing.. if you damage one part of it.. you don't have to pay the full price for the entire set.. you can order Front left.. rear left.. etc.

Apparently, even though they picture shows them as two pieces.. the ones I acquired this weekend are solid all the way through.
