Default Or-Fab rocker guards corrosion issues?

So I installed a set on my 2 dr. back in mid November and yesterday I gave the Jeep a good washing and noticed a fair amount of light surface corrosion going on. I understand they take rocks and what not going down the road, and I do live in the Northern U.S. and winters can be a bit tough on items with the road salt, but I wouldn't have expected this already. Anyone else have similar issues? I'll post pics a little later.

Would like to see some pics. I've got OR-Fab gear all over my JK and don't have any issues with corrosion or rust. Post them up when you have them.

I'll get some up today. Also, I have the wrinkle black finish on mine. Seemed flawless when I installed them...

Does it look any thing like my Or Fab tire carrier after only 6 months?

Their product is great, the paint/powder coating not so much.

That looks bad.

What did Or Fab have to say about it?

not that bad, but most likely is heading that direction if I don't do something about it.

Wow, I have the exact same carrier, I got it from Northridge 4x4 two years ago, and still not a touch of rust!

They said they would warranty it but I would have to pay shipping half way to return my bumper, for the price of shipping I think I am just going to paint it myself.

But yeah doesn't look good when parts on a 2011 are rusting that bad.
