OR-Fab Stinger Stubby w/offset winch mount?
Will a smaller winch like a Warn M-8000 work just fine with the offset mount? I figure it will but have no experience with them. I can get an offset a lot cheaper than a center mount is why I'm asking.

You can use the Warn M-8000 with the offest bumper. This bumper is made for the Powerplant winches so the fairlead will be offset, but other than cosmetics of not having a centered fairlead... you'll be fine.
