I like the idea protecting the seam, but connections to the sheet metal seems a little tricky.

I decided to go with ACE+ Rubi rails. I got a great deal from a forum member on '12 takeoff rails and will buy the ace sliders next month. Thanks for the opinions.

If you want true rock rails go with the new weld on ace rock rails. I have the ace ones that bolt to the body mounts and the do flex enough to cause damage to the rocker if your not running rubicon rock rails as well.

Good choice on the ace rails man! I've pivoted on trees with mine a few times without even tearing up the finish, I don't even have the rubi rails but I have seen videos of people jacking their jeep with a highlift jack on the ace rails without rubi rails and they didn't contact the body. They're really sturdy!
