Well, simply put, a coil spring lift gives it's lift from longer than stock coil springs while a spacer lift are just that, spacers that sit on top of the factory springs to give you lift.

Coil spring lifts, will lift the jeep using a longer more Heavy Duty coil spring, spacer lifts just put a spacer in between the stock coil spring and the coil spring seat. Coil spring lift is the way to go.
