When I bought my jk the dealer had installed one of those alarms that have the mysterious limited instructions and vague features. I did find out that if I try to use the factory jk setting to unlock not only the driver's side but also the passenger at the same time on the same click that the alarm ends up going off. I did get an eventual straight answer from an alarm guy at Jeep that the aftermarket dealer installed unit does not work with the "unlock both doors with one click" jk option. Is it easy to remove the aftermarket alarm? I do have it in valet mode, but I would like to simply remove the dealer installed one.
