When I bought my '07 last February half doors weren't an option. I've noticed on the forum, after being away for awhile, lots of pictures of JK's with half doors. I'm assuming Jeep is now offering them as an option. Has anybody bought them aftermarket from the Factory/Dealer? Any idea on cost? I'll ask my dealer in a few days, but any info would be appreciated. Also, if this has been discussed before I'd appreciate a link. Thanks

The build date on my Jeep was 11/06. It has half doors. Who told you half doors weren't an option?

 

Thanks for the link Robar. I knew they'd be expensive, but that's even high for Jeep!

 

I ordered mine on 11/1/06 and the dealer said they weren't an option. As many vehicles that I've bought from dealers over the years and had things screwed up you'd think I'd double check what they tell me. Some day...

 

I think the two doors were available with half doors out of the gate, while the 4 doors were a late availability, IIRC.

 

I stopped by a local dealership of the weekend in st louis mo and there were quite a few wranglers with half doors on them. If I remember correctly more than 5!
