Default Factory mopar sliders installation hardware?

I picked up a set of brand new mopar sliders, according to the guy I purchased them from he had no hardware and said they mount to existing hardware already on the jeep. Is this true?

To some extent. If you have a Sahara, or the optional side steps on an X (Sport), you can re-use the mounting hardware. Otherwise, you will need four "J" nuts, six bolts and a dozen nuts and bolts for the upper mounts. Search this forum for the exact sizes.

call whoever you bought it from. be firm about getting the missing hardware. if they can't supply it see if you can get them to foot the bill (or at least split it) for the parts from the dealer. don't feel bad about being stern. after all, they lied to you in the first place

I got a decent deal on un-mounted rock rails...he was asking $200 and I offered $150 and he accepted.

The guy didnt even own a jeep, he said he got them from his boss who said he upgraded and if he didnt want them he was going to throw them out.

I cant imagine it will run me more then $25-$30 for the hardware.

I got everything at Ace for about $15

nuts are m6 1.0 pitch
u nuts and bolts are m8 1.25 pitch

Then i used some random washers that were thick and fit good. If you just use the little m6 washers and m8 washers, they are too small.

Like ndogg said, should only be a 20 spot at the hardware store and you will be in business.

Can someone post a picture of what each piece should look like?

I called the dealership, they want $68.53 for all the pieces. They are not available as a kit. Crappy thing is I was hoping to just buy one of each and then find something comparable at my local hardware store but they dont have anything in stock
