Default Factory Rubicon Sway Bar Question

Not sure where to put this thread.

I have an 08 Rubicon JKU. I am sick of the swaybar reconnecting whenever I cross 18 mph.

Does a programmer exist that can allow me to discconnect and reconnect the sway bar whenever I want?

I believe bullydog offers one that auto reconnects on and off at 35mph.

My superchip programmer does nothing, according to my manual.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Why do you need the increased articulaton over 18 mph?

Sounds like you just like roller coaster rides. This could be dangerous but I there is a write up out there how to do an override just like the lockers.

4-hi in snow off road my most common example. Running longer mud holes is another where you need momentum.

I'll need to check out the overide. That's a good lead - thanks!

I forgot to mention that hitting deep ruts while driving with it connected has bent the links.

I, too, have found the 18 mph reconnect annoying, because it sometimes takes a while for it to disconnect again, depending on the terrain.

The BullyDog GT Gas Tuner changes it to 30MPH.

I just got the jks quick discos. I like to have them disconnected all the time for desert stuff, even in 2 wheel drive, much better ride and more speed through rough stuff. Also I over extended mine with the rubi swaybar disconnected and bent stuff.

I was on a run 2 weeks ago and a guy from my group had his rubi swaybar reconnect and bend one of his links. That's what I want to avoid.

Also, why suffer a punishing ride when you don't have too!

The bully dog 30 mph correction is appreciated as well.
