Default Factory warranty void because of lift ???

Hi everybody , today I went by to the dealer to check on my order (i live close by) and mentioned the salesperson i was going to lift the car myself instead of using their services to do it. He replied to me saying that the warranty might be voided if i do that . Obviusly they charge too much to do the job and i beleive they trying to get more business by intimidating people and steering people to do the job with them (they charge $3500 for a job that i can do somewhere else for $2800 ). does anybody came across this issue? Thanks in advance guys !!!

Well i was planning to go with superlift 4" $600 + $450 to install , then 5 mickey thompsons 35x12.5x17 go for like $1600 and 5 wheels around $600 , well more or less around $3000 , they want $3500 totally overpriced !!

it states that your warranty cannot be voided by an aftermarket part UNLESS it can be PROVEN that that part CAUSED the failure in question.
thanks so much for your input !!

here is the way I see the whole warrenty thing. I would not wait 3yrs to lift it because I was afriad to void the warrenty. I want to enjoy my jeep to its fullest and that would be lifted, voided warranty or not. If the lift caused something to happened it would come out of your pocket . If you wait three years and something happened , its coming out of your pocket anyways. no lift and 3yrs waiting and nothing goes wrong on your stock jeep, well thats fun but not as fun as you could have. your paying for your jeep, so enjoy it. life is to short.
