Default Fair price for gears?

Got an estimate today for a re-gear. The shop is a reputable place that has done 4 other JK's. The estimate was for 5:13 Superior gears, install kit, labor, and fluids (Amsoil). Total price was $1224.00 Does this seam reasonable?

Sounds reasonable to me. I personally paid $1400 for everything and they are gonna change the fluid for me after 500 miles.

That sounds about right. Offroad Evolution ran a special when the gears were just released for $1000 complete, but that was a 1 time only deal. There is a local shop here that does gear setup for $250 labor per axle, so you can add that up with the cost of the gears, install kit, and fluids to get a more exact comparison. Good luck.
