Default Fairings Anyone?

I just installed the Wildboar Roof Rack and I love it, but it can get pretty loud at high speeds.

Has anyone out there mounted any fairings to their roof racks? I am looking for some ideas so any advice or pics would be great.

Thanks!

Default Jeep Fairing

I have a Kargo Master (Congo Cage) rack on my TJ... this is a great rack that is easy to use, strong and looks better than most of the racks out there... but at 30 miles an hour it began to make a low hum, 40 mph and it sound like a wind tunnel and 50 mph and above sounded like you had a set of subwoofers kickin at maximum volume on either side of your head. So load that if you have the top down at 60 mph you had to scream just to hear the person sitting beside you.

So I decided to get a Fairing to cut down on the wind noise. The only problem was, I couldn't find one for my Jeep, so I decided to make my own. Here's a post on what I used to make my Jeep Fairing with some pictures. Hope it helps!

Thanks guys, I wrote Chris the other day, but he has not replied yet. I will ghive him a call. I can not believe that they have not come out with anything yet becauase these racks are LOUD! I too have looked into the Thule and Yakima fairings trying to come up with a contraption to fit my rack. If there is no hope with Wildboar I will make my own.

I talked to Chris at Wildboar today and he told me that they were coming out with a snap on fairing in about three weeks. The best part about it was that he said they were going to bhe cheap! About $15.00
