Default Falken Wildpeak info

Looking for someone that has a set on their jk(33s or 35s would be best). I am live in wv almost year round and my jk is a dd and weekend warrior. I am just looking for a review on how they do in the mud because that will be about 25% of what I do when I hit the trails.

For the record, I don't have these on my JKUR.

I just read an article in Four Wheeler where the compared 37 different tires in various conditions (on/off road, rocks, mud, sand, snow, ice). The article rated them very high for all conditions EXCEPT thick, gooey mud.

I'd like to hear more as I like these as a strong option when I need new tires and want to up-size.

I ran them through some mud just after I got them and they didn't do very well, I was all over the place and couldn't even get over a curb. They'ree good on rocks, highway, rain, and not bad in snow.

I keep hearing good things about these, but they just look so wussy. I mean can they really compare to a real m/t type tire? I wheeled with SRA's and the rubi take offs, and while I felt i could wheel with the sra's, it made a huge huge difference to swap to the rubis. i'd hate to even think about loosing offroad performance swapping to a street tire. how do you think these compare to some km2s, mtr/ks, or even some duratracs?

Cool

I looked at the Wildpeaks, Duratracs, and the Goodyear MT/R Kevlar side by side in the tire store. There was no comparison, the Wildpeaks looked like a car tire IMO. The Duratracs fit perfect between the MT/R and the Wildpeaks. The outer tread blocks are aggressive on the Duratracs and the inner ones are smaller for a quieter highway ride. The Duratracs did really well in the mud when I took them off road at Tahuya, no slipping in the soupy mud and I kept up with the group, mostly on 35-37" MT's. Plus I have 7,000 miles on them, and they don't look worn at all, I expect to get a lot of miles out of them.

I totally agree with this comment. I have a set of 37" Wildpeaks on my JK and they work well on a lot of different terrain but they're pretty sketchy on mud, especially if you're going up a hill.
