Default fan not running

OK... I am not new to the game. My 07 JK is pushing 100K.

But, today, after idling with the air on for about 10 mins, my ABS light came on and
the s.o.b. drove like the steering wheel was off center. . . no power, acting like it was cutting out... ect.

So I got home, and noticed the fan was not running! it ALWAYS runs when idling with air.

So that seems to be root of the problem... 1st things 1st.

but is it the fan, or relay? and how can I tell?

Have you doused it in mud lately? Search the forums for posts about mud getting into the vents on back of fan motor

My clock spring is bad so I am sure I would get a butt load of codes!

No mud for about 8 months.

This might be a long shot but how old is your battery?

My 07 went haywire when the factory battery started going out.
Wipers would come on, windows would randomly roll down, dash would go black at night.
Freaky. wasn't sure if I should call a mechanic or an exorcist.

Deep cycle Odyssey drove the demons away. Been fine ever since.

1st place to check is your fuses. They have a 60amp maxi fuse that tends to pop when the fan gets filled up with mud. I carry a spare.

Default ^^^n3ver heard this

I am on my 3rd fan...in 120k miles of abuse. if fans not working, hit it. It will get you home. Then go to advanced and get a $135 lifetime replacement fan and wire in a 60amp relay and kill switch.
