Default Feed Back On This Bumper

Hello. Got pretty excited when I saw this bumper. Thought I would ask a few questions to see if anyone knows.

1. Does anyone out there have this?
2. Can you tell if its a winch mount?
3. Could the price really be $219 for a tube bumper, winch mount and fog light holes?

Any feed back, bad or good is appreciated. Thanks

x2... They just don't sit well.

and the price should be right on, if not a little high. tube bumpers for the JK's have been coming down in price greatly, compared to their full-bodied counterparts which are high in demand.

I do NOT like tubes
For a tube it doesnt look bad.
Price doesn't look absurd but doesn't look
like a deal either...

BUT if you like it that is what really matters!

Plently of people are putting chrome on their
Jeeps and you couldnt pay me to put chrome on mine.

Tube fenders are old school in my book. I never really liked them even on older jeeps.

Well, I'll be the first to say that I don't think it looks all that bad, though I'd like to see a pic of it on a JK before I passed a final judgement. Of course I have tubular side steps on mine, so I could just surround my JK in tubes. I also had a tubular front bumper on my YJ and liked that.

I'd rather have most of the other offerings out there, but to have fog holes, a winch mount, and a winch hoop for that price isn't too bad for those of us on a budget. Estimated shipping on it is only $25 as well. To your door for $245, not bad.

It does look nice in that picture, but go to the rugged ridge website and download their PDF product catalog. It doesn't look so pretty. The rear tube bumper looks good though .

The problem with the JK's and tube bumpers, in my opinion, is the big plastic fenders. For some reason, they don't mesh very well with the tube fenders, looks-wise.

You're right, but I think it's because it's a close up on a black Jeep. The textured black against the gloss just doesn't do it for me. That and empty fog holes always look funny.

One thing I did notice is that the part number listed on the site is for the bumper with out the winch plate and there doesn't seem to be an option to change it.

Captain... I like it! Mine is silver too, so it's a great representation.
