You bet reset to stock is very easy. Unless they they have changed it again, all customer auto shift tune change capability has been removed.

For those with std trans there are still many benefits. Engine tunes for higher octane fuel, throttle response, speedo limiter increase, DRL change, tire size, gear change, tpms adjust etc.

Too bad for the 2015-16 guys. That's a lot of hassle.

Call them. They told me the unlock was 15-16 so far. Once it is unlocked it just gives them access. You can always go back to stock. Your hand held unit is what does the tuning. They just have to reprogram the ecu for access. But for year you will have to ask. Mine told me on superchips website when i put my make and model

My fuel efficiency has improved by about 2 mpg since I did all this stuff, but I can't be sure which mod did how much.

I am happy with my K&N 63 Series. Nice and covered. Seems to use the factory ducting so no loss there. I am a long time enthusiast of sports cars and 4x4, and I have personal comfort with K&N products as well. If anything is questionable, it's the TB Spacer/Vortexer, but while I was in there I figured what the heck.

I am running an out of the box tune from Diablosport which supposedly adds another 20hp, but with all my mods and ability to draw more air, I really need to have a pro tune it. Gonna wait a few weeks for that though.

Running a k&N in mine and love it especially with the ripp headers, mbrp exhaust and tuner, over all only have seen maybe 3-4 mpgs gained but if you are going for sound the CAi intake w/ the exhaust defiantly adds a nice sound. On the water fording end I have gone through water up to the top of my tires (35s) and intake was still bone dry. Over all in combination with everything it adds a nice sound and minor gains but nothing noticeable by itself. heard great things about the volant intakes but haven't had any 1st hand experience.

Thanks for the compliment, and yeah Diablosport has the 2016 JK tuning market to themselves with their very expensive solution, at least for now.

I'm sure more tuners will come out soon enough. Maybe within 3 months. Then all prices will be driven down.

Because this PCM is so easy to change, it is really neat that you can just swap the PCM back to the stock one if ever needed. There is no trace of reflashing if any warranty police were to go snooping. : )

Not sure why some folks are saying that intakes or exhaust are a waste with no gains. Both aftermarket intake and exhaust promote faster moving air, which promotes better performance. It is capped by the ECU but any engine with any stock ECU will perform better with aftermarket intake and/or exhaust. Haters...make no sense at all...

to a lot of people the minute gain is not worth the cost.
