Default Feedback on Pro Comp (Accupro) Computer Chips

Was wondering if anyone had this installed on the JK? It's been around for awhile and I'm thinking of snagging one as I'm not looking for more than a speedometer fix. They are relatively inexpensive at 4wd.com so I'm getting ready to order one. I've seen very little reviews or feedback on this programmer, any thoughts? I figure I can't go wrong for 179.00.

if you have an auto, the accu pro will not only correct your speedo/odometer but by virtue of it, change your shift points back to where they need to be. aside from that, there really isn't much it will do. if you want more programming capabilities, you will need something like a hypertech max energy programmer.

I have it, not much too it. I used it on the JK and my dads Ram 2500 when he put 315s on, no issues.

I have one and its very easy to use, but money well spent. It helps with the shift points and its nice to actually know how fast your going and how many miles youve traveled.

Anyone notice if the change of shift points makes much difference on the freeway. That's where I seem to find the shift points the most out of wack. Although, I can't remember if they were any good before I got the lift and bigger tires.

Where did you see it for 179? I see it for 189 buts thats it?

Also, Donjonald did you use the same programmer for the dodge truck or did you have to buy another one? My dodge has been running for ten years on bigger tires and it would be nice to program it too. My guess is you can't use it on both.

I must not be able to use their search. I looked on there and it didn't even show up. Maybe I spelled it wrong.

Post your results once you get it. I am interested in getting one fairly soon.

here you go: http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?partID=16011 it's 10% off for the next day and you also get free shipping.

I have one and think it's money well spent. Did the chalk test with my tires set at 30 psi and calibrated the speedo for it. I've noticed a difference around town but hadn't taken it on the highway yet (when I first got it programmed I used 34.5 for my tire size, all I can say is do the chalk test )
