Default Fender chop question???

Alright so I'm sure their is plenty of threads about chopping stock fenders. So I've chopped my rear and front fenders. Now I'm looking to spray all the white space on the rear tub that shows. My only concern with this is if I ever decide to put aftermarket fenders on. The area I painted will go outside of where the aftermarket fenders sit. Has any done this or ran into this issue.

Are you referring to the fender or the FLARE? They're two different things.

You can try a removable rubber coating like Plastidip. Peels off in a snap but lasts forever if applied correctly.

I'm talking about the fender flares.

do you have to strip the paint to apply plastidip. I've never messed around with that stuff before
