Fender Extensions (like the TJ)
Trying to solve the rock chip problem w/ a 4-door (rubicon) - latest thought is using the fender-extension piece from the TJ's (the plastic fender extension off the front fenders). I've thought of making my own out of aluminum, but don't have the time to mess around with it... Curious if anyone has tried the TJ extensions, or has figured something else out.
Other options:
- Bought the Mopar mud flaps, but didn't like the looks or how far they hung down.
- The Teraflex rock rails would be perfect, but don't want to drill into the body (yet).
- The Xenon fender flare extensions require the Xenon fenders - an option, but expensive.
- If all else fails, going with the Sahara steps (plus my kids will be able to get in on thier own
)
Thanks.
