Fender holes to big
hey all. Had some aftermarket fenders on the jeep(2017 jku). Had to install nutserts to get them on. The fenders rusted up so wanted to remove everything. As you probably could have guessed, nutserts n bolts rusted had to cut and drill things out. Now the factory holes are to big. Ordered the KBD fender kit before removal and not the new hardware doesn’t fit the holes. So I’m stuck, is there anyway to get the holes back down to factory size, like a rubber grommet or something of that nature? Any help is appreciated.
i took a glance at that fender kit, but I don't see how they are held on. Is it by plastic clips that go in those factory holes? guessing it is not by nuts and bolts. if it is plastic clips, are they attached to the fenders already and there is no way to use a larger, similar clip? I presume you're limited to a body-side solution due to asking about a rubber grommet.
I'd be interested in seeing a few pictures of the backside of those flares if you didn't mind. mainly curious.

they sent these nylon body nuts that you put in the factory holes then screw in the fender. I’m trying to find similar ones just that will retain in a bigger diameter hole. I’ll post some pics of them and the fenders. The backside of the fenders are pretty normal like any other ones. These are just a polyurethane. Nice hard plastic. Had to get away from the mental ones due to my climate and the salt on the roads in the winter. They rusted out
