Default Finally got my Jeep home...

And now the mods begin.. I already decided on the type of lift, wheels, tires, and all that.. Until I saw this Jeep **sigh** I know this rig is running the ProComp 6005 wheels with ProComp Xterrain rubber and bushwhackers... Just not sure what size rim (it looks like 20's to me, but I'm not sure) and if they're running 33's with no lift, or 35's with a 2" lift... And also can't find the side steps either as IMO this Jeep is set-up killer and looks great... I know these are real "newbie" questions so be patient with me as I've just stepped over from the vette world to getting a jacked up Wrangler...

I don't think those wheels are 20s. Reason is because they show it off-roading. 20s are subject to damage when the tires are aired down because of too little sidewall. 17s on 35s, would be my guess. Also, sidesteps are not suitable for off-road work; they'll get banged up pretty quickly. Get real rock rails/sliders and use them as sidesteps. That is, unless you're not going to off-road, but just want to look the part.

It's a poseur shot, so I don't think they cared about side steps not being good for offroading. And to me, those look like 20s with 35s. Be interesting to know exactly what it's set up is though.

yeah, those are 20's and it looks like they have 35's on them.
And that pic is a fake, the background is added.

I had two Mopar Driver side steps in pristine condition, no matching passenger sides, unless you own stock in superglue. I am on my third set. I doubt i can scrounge up a 4th.
Logs, rocks and sidesteps are not good bedfellows.

Get railed.

Okay, I give up! But, that doesn't change that they're not suitable for off-road. Unless you're building a mall crawler, or plan to run 40" tires, stay away from 20s.

Maybe 37's or 39.5's would be ok, too.
