Default it finally happened--i got broken into..

walked out to my jeep about 6a, opened the door and bam! stuff all over my front seat--

i really dogged a bullet- they didn't take my radio faceplate or GPS. just my flashlight & ipod cord(WTF) but they hit other cars on my street.

how does anyone feel about tuffy stuff. i read some good reviews about teh center console, but that's kinda pricey. anyone have thoughts on the overhead console?

aside from electrifying the doors, are there any other solutions?

i know i should be better about taking stuff out of my jeep, but i can be lazy at times..
thanks
steve

Tuffy's stuff is supposed to be top flight. Northridge recently had a sale on it. The center console security insert isn't too expensive.

How about the under seat Tuffy storage? It seems like a good place to store a radio faceplate and GPS. It's $99 too...much cheaper than their other lockable storage.

Dam I have to hate those bitches, but what can you do, they have to eat too. Maybe they will pay when they go to Jail...

Sorry to hear that, but like you said WTF they took a IPod Connection Cord, and a Flash Light--Dude your better off without it if the bitches wanted it that bad. Offer them a beer and go for a MOAB Jeep Run...

I have a Tuffy console insert and a Tuffy Security deck. I like them both. Tuffy and Bestop both have a under seat security drawer that look really nice.

that is true. cause aint nothing easier to get to than the inside of a jeep.. but i figure if they want it bad enough.. they gonna get it.. just keep stuff like money and iPod out of jeep.. and your pistol on your side.. nothing like giving them some lead if you catch em!!!!

Jeeps are easy targets. Mine was sitting in front of my house with the doors off, nothing left in the open to grab, but that didn't stop a passerby from trying to open my locked glove box and breaking off the handle. I had to replace some glove box parts, but nothing was stolen. There wasn't even anything of value in my glove box... just a hat and my registration.
