Default Finally Time for Lift Decision!

Hey Guys,

I am finally making the big decision and deciding what lift I want to put on my 2012 JKU Rubicon.

Currently I am running 35's on a Teraflex Leveling Kit with Flats.

This is what I am currently looking at

1. Rock Krawler X Factor 2.5
2. Fox Racing TeraFlex Tuned Performance Shocks (2.4 to 4 inch lift)
3. Some form of speed bumps, currently looking at Teraflex 2.5 inch speed bump kit or the 3-4 inch kit (Not sure which would be better for this lift)

I am also looking at the Teraflex Prerunner Short Arm kit but trying to find out what this kit includes before I compare Waiting to hear from Teraflex.

I do a lot of offroad but rock crawling is probably the least thing I do. So lots of brutal roads, huge cross ditches, mass pot holes and that's just our highways

Feedback is much appreciated!

The 2.5 Max Travel would be sweet on that setup (35's and flats). I am running 3.5 Max travel with the fox shocks and teraflex bumpstops and I love it, almost as much as my wife does. You can't go wrong with Rock Krawler.

I looked at the Max Travel 2.5 and the X Factor 2.5 is way more complete. All 8 control arms, both Track bars etc.

Obviously cost more but might as well get something complete and not have to worry.

Hoping to hear from anyone who has a similar set-up and how it performs!

Default lift kit

You are running 35" tires and you want to go fast? you will bend your front axle . The first thing you should do is to gusset the front axle. I know , I learned the hard way! By the way , if you go to your dealership with a bent front axle under warrantee , they will not warrantee it because of the big tires and lift , I found that out the hard way also. I am now looking into a Pro Rock 44 housing replacement!
