Firestone AT or General Grabber AT2's (which one)
My wife hates the Bridgestone tires that came on her Sahara, claims the drive bad in the rain, snow and ice.
I am considering the above (see title) tires but cant decide between the two. I would like the Duratrac's but the price is to high per tire compared to the other two.
What tire should I go with ?

If she thinks the Duelers are bad, then I think both the tires listed will be worse. I cannot and will not speak for the Grabbers. But my experience with the Firestone A/T was pretty poor on my last SUV. I actually moved up to the Duelers which were amazingly better.
You may want to take a look at the Cooper Discoverer AT and the Yokohama Geolander AT. I have ran both successfully on SUV's, they are aggressive enough to not look odd on a Jeep but have very very good road manners.

I have the stock duelers on the 18 inch rims.
I can say for a fact that duelers handle well in the rain... I live in Florida. They also have a great tread life and have done pretty well in a variety of terrain. I do not have any experience in the snow with them.

firestones are great had on my dodge pickup my father inlaw has them on his ford and my parents have them on there durango and they all love them. In my dodge truck they went through a lot never had a doubt and really good wear had for 2 years and still looked new then got jeep and went with the hankook dyna pro atm and these are really good as well.
If you're looking for one of the two, I would go with the firestones. They're probably a little cheaper, and I have Firestone Destination A/T's on my JK and they've been fine for every terrain.
I've had Firestone Destination A/Ts on my Liberty and Wrangler and love them. They have been great in rain, high standing water, the snowy/icy mix we just had the other day, deep sand and anything else I decide to drive through. I have yet to lose traction during normal driving conditions. I say normal because I went playing in the snowy/ice mix to see how far I could go and lose traction, only then did I slide. I love my Wrangler and The Firestone A/Ts. They are the perfect combo for me!

Great on the snow, on ice they are a little iffy but better than the KM's I had on before.
